What are your top 3 campaign priorities and why?

1. Strengthening Canada to succeed when global trade rules and tariffs threaten our economic sovereignty.

When other countries threaten tariffs or trade restrictions, Canada needs to stand strong. For too long, we've been shipping our raw resources straight out of the country. Creating Strategic Reserves of Canadian resources through Crown corporations will protect Canadian communities from trade disruptions by ending the "rip and ship" approach to natural resources. Instead of being at the mercy of foreign decisions, we'll have control over our own resources and the ability to weather economic storms while protecting Canadian workers.

2. Addressing income inequality by eliminating all federal income taxes on earnings under $40,000.

This isn't about putting a few dollars in people's pockets – it's about kickstarting a positive chain reaction in local economies. When working Canadians keep more of their earnings, they spend at local businesses. Those businesses then hire and pay workers better, who in turn also support local shops. Our plan returns $50 billion directly to communities across Canada, creating thriving local economies.

3. Strengthening and expanding universal public healthcare to ensure every Canadian has access to comprehensive health services and bringing mental health, dental care, and pharmacare fully into our public healthcare system.

Too many Canadians have to choose between paying for their medications and covering basic needs. No one should be priced out of essential treatment. That’s why we will establish universal pharmacare, ensuring that every Canadian can access the prescriptions they rely on.  At the heart of our healthcare system are the dedicated professionals who care for us. We would make significant investments in fair compensation and training for healthcare workers across all disciplines. We would also help reduce roadblocks for healthcare workers trained outside of Canada to obtain their credentials in Canada. By valuing these essential workers, we ensure quality care for all Canadians.

How do you plan to actively involve and include residents in community decisions?

I share the principle held by the late Queen Elizabeth II that people in roles like hers must be seen to be believed. I will actively participate in community events and attend occasions where the presence of our political representative will be welcomed. I have lived in Mississauga-Streetsville for nearly forty years and am already a dependable part of community life here.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

The use of dirty energy has been emitting heat trapping pollution into the atmosphere causing our planet to overheat and creating irreversible damage. I have worked in business and government for many years with a focus on shifting vehicle fleets from fossil fuels to zero-emission vehicles. I have personal success stories to encourage more vehicle fleets to make the switch and reduce the carbon pollution that causes overheating and extreme weather that causes the type of flooding that happened in the Lisgar neighbourhood last summer.
