Learn about why Audi of Mississauga became the lead sponsor of Maya Charbin's "Northern Night" fashion show
/We speak with Jonathan Breton, Audi of Mississauga’s General Manager on why they decided to sponsor Mississauga’s Maya Charbin’s “Norther Night” fashion show, and how they’re involved in our community.
Why did Audi of Mississauga become a sponsor of Maya's event?
Maya reached out to us when she started planning “Northern Night”. She and her family have been customers of ours for some time, but she’s also an entrepreneur from our local community with a business she has created that fits well with our own. Unique and progressive design is a pillar of the Audi DNA, and her work really aligns with this. I also believe that there is a common appreciation for the craftsmanship, quality of materials and attention to detail found both in our vehicles and the pieces she creates.
How long has Audi of Mississauga been a part of the local community?
Audi of Mississauga has been at our current location since 2005, but our company (Bramgate Automotive) has been a part of the Mississauga and Brampton communities for more than 50 years, since 1967.
Why is it important to you to support other local businesses in our community?
Our own business has grown because of the support of our local community over the years. Many of our customers are business owners as well, so their success is important to us too. Even more, when we have an opportunity to support women in business like Maya Charbin, it makes it that much more special.
What other events/sponsorships does Audi of Mississauga engage in?
We are in the second year of our partnership with Lindsay Rice and the Rice Racing team. Lindsay races an Audi RS3 LMS in the Canadian Touring Car Championship, and she is another member and great role model from our local community where our collaboration is a great fit for both of us. We are looking forward to a great 2019 season!
Bramgate Automotive also has an on-going hospital donation program with Trillium Health Partners Foundation – Credit Valley Hospital and Mississauga Hospital – one of the largest community-based, academically-affiliated, acute care facilities in Canada. Each of our locations makes a donation from every vehicle we sell that goes towards raising the critical funds required to address their highest priority needs.
